Cordwood on a stick

Another great weekend of cordwood building. Lots of help again. Thanks!! Great to have you out.

We finally got some scaffolding set up. It makes a huge difference.

We are inching closer and closer to that 10 foot mark. The top plates were put in the wall. They are 4x12s. A local mill made them for us out of spruce. Cory cut them so they would overlap and fit together.

North side East corner done!!!!!

The plan is to finish up with cordwood this weekend, weather permitting. Come one come all put something in the cordwood wall!!!

  2. Beautiful! What is the substance used between the round chunks of wood? Mortar? Cement? I love the house!
